Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Community Planning

Plan for the sustainable development of our cities and region with the Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Community Planning in Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture. This certificate in sustainable community planning is available to nonmatriculated students and students in other Temple University graduate programs, with the approval of their graduate advisor. This certificate meets the needs of public and private sector employees who work to improve the sustainability of cities, neighborhoods and regions and to address the adverse impacts of climate change without academic degrees in planning.

  • interpret the discourse of theory and practice of sustainable development at the local, regional and global levels;
