  • Office of Community Impact and Civic Engagement

      • Associate Vice President

Debbie Campbell, associate vice president in the OCICE, has had the privilege of serving Temple University for nearly four decades. Debbie is deeply motivated by the work being done in the OCICE to further amplify Temple’s mission of access, engagement and impact. This role brings together what has always inspired Debbie most about Temple—a commitment to North Philadelphia and to serving families at every stage of life. Pulling together her internal knowledge of all that Temple has to offer and her external connections to community, nonprofit and educational partners, she works with the OCICE team to align Temple resources to

  • strengthen and expand educational, workforce and healthcare initiatives;
  • create new pathways for kindergarten through grade 12 students and families toward higher education;
  • deepen partnerships with schools, community organizations and employers; and
  • build a robust civic engagement network connecting Temple students, faculty and staff with our neighbors

Temple Made, Debbie is a two-time Temple alum, where she earned her MBA (1991) and bachelor of business administration degree in marketing and economics (1988). She is an adjunct assistant professor in the Marketing Department at the Fox School of Business and has been teaching consistently since 2004.
