Biography
Hoda Jradi holds a PhD in epidemiology from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Complementing her doctoral studies, she earned a master of public health (MPH) with a concentration in health policy and management from Jackson State University, Jackson, Mississippi, and a master of science in microbiology from the University of North Texas.
With a career spanning 12 years at King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Jradi has served as a professor of epidemiology and, for seven years, as the program director for the Department of Community and Environmental Health. In her capacity as a faculty member and program director, she played a pivotal role in crafting the curriculum for the MPH program.
Dr. Jradi is an accomplished researcher, with an active agenda that has resulted in 53 publications by the year 2023. Her research interests revolve around topics of global health significance and a current focus on the development and validation of health literacy scales and the creation of assessment tools for diverse health domains.
In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Jradi is currently teaching graduate courses in epidemiology and research methods.
