Applicants should have a strong STEM background as well as a baccalaureate degree in a science or engineering field. The following coursework is also required.
Unofficial transcripts are considered at the time of applying. Official transcripts are required when accepting the offer at the time of deposit. Official transcripts can be sent to cst.gi@temple.edu.
Submit two reference letters from college or university faculty who are familiar with your competency. If you have an established career in the field, your immediate supervisor should provide one of the letters.
Your goals statement should be 250 to 500 words in length and should describe your interest in the program, research goals, and academic and research achievements.
GRE scores are not required.
A current résumé is required.
An in-person or video interview with the program director or members of the Cyber Defense and Information Assurance PSM Steering Committee is required.
Applicants who earned their baccalaureate degree from an institution where the language of instruction was other than English, with the exception of those who subsequently earned a master’s degree at a U.S. institution, must report scores for a standardized test of English that meet these minimums.
