Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Leadership in Organizations Certificate (Graduate)

Certificate Program in Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Leadership in Organizations

Drive organizational outcomes that go beyond compliance with the Certificate Program in Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Leadership in Organizations in Temple’s Fox School of Business. In this 12-credit graduate program, you’ll learn to develop initiatives that drive revenue, enhance culture, improve service delivery and increase employee engagement while centering on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

You’ll investigate your own identities while gaining the knowledge to understand the complex dynamics of microaggressions, privilege and unconscious bias in order to attract and retain top talent as a human resources (HR) professional. Develop cultural humility, empathy and productive behaviors that build effective relationships and increase your impact as a leader.

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Leadership in Organizations graduate certificate program provides the tools to meet the challenges of strategic HR management including ethical, public policy and societal ramifications. Program outcomes include the demonstrated knowledge of employment legal requirements and labor management relations, inclusive hiring practices, and performance management and reward systems. Graduates will understand which DEI programs succeed and why and they will learn new frameworks for leadership behavior centered on emotional intelligence.

This certificate program is designed for lifelong learners looking to enhance their careers. The graduate certificate program is also an effective path towards earning Fox’s online Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Master of Business Administration graduate programs.
