Departmental Research
This degree is offered by the Department of Health Services Administration and Policy at Temple’s College of Public Health. Faculty research emphases within the department include
- the development of health policies affecting areas such as tobacco use, mental health, substance abuse, violence and obesity;
- community health, prevention, and emergency preparedness;
- disparities, access to care and social determinants of health;
- global healthcare management and leadership;
- impacts of health information technologies; and
- patient experience and quality of care, population health, and healthcare costs and financing.

Research Centers
The College of Public Health contains several research centers, labs and programs associated with our public health disciplines. These include the
