Students at the School of Pharmacy have numerous opportunities to contribute to real-world experiments, helmed by world-class practitioners and researchers.

You’ll be exposed to unique perspectives on the drug discovery process and the importance of multidisciplinary, collaborative research in the modern scientific environment.

Temple University Hospital

Temple University Hospital is a 746-bed tertiary care facility at the Health Sciences Center in Philadelphia. It is the primary clinical teaching site for the School of Pharmacy. Notable services of the hospital include active research programs, intensive care units and transplant services.

Temple Health also contains the

  • ambulatory care center in Northeast Philadelphia,
  • community medical center Jeanes Hospital and
  • Temple University Hospital Episcopal Campus.

The close proximity to the School of Pharmacy to Temple University Hospital allows residents to participate in numerous educational experiences and work with pharmacy students during their clinical experiences, didactic coursework and small group classes.

Temple's Health Sciences Libraries

Temple University has eight different libraries on four different campuses. Temple ranks among the top university research libraries in North America and is a member of the prestigious Association of Research Libraries.

Temple’s Health Sciences Libraries primarily serve the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, the schools of Dentistry, Pharmacy and Podiatry, and the College of Public Health.
