Admissions Requirements
To apply for the Public Health Data Science MS, you must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

You will apply using SOPHAS Centralized Application Service. The documents required below will all be submitted through the SOPHAS system.
Submit three letters of recommendation from college or university faculty who can speak to your academic abilities. If appropriate for your situation, the letters can also be from research supervisors or mentors.
Write a 500- to 1,000-word statement of purpose that articulates your interests in public health and this program in particular. Craft your statement to specifically address the following questions.
Submit a writing sample of no more than 10 pages (unless it is a published work). The department prefers academic papers, scholarly articles and technical reports.
Submit a résumé or CV that includes your GPA, as well as relevant clinical and research experiences.
Submit official transcripts from all the undergraduate and graduate institutions you’ve attended. Please mail all of your official transcripts to the following address.

Laptops are integrated into the curriculum at the College of Public Health to improve opportunities for active learning and provide greater access to specialized software and required tools in and out of the classroom.
