Admissions

How to Apply

Students currently matriculated in a graduate program at Temple or another university, as well as applicants who are not currently enrolled in a graduate program, are all welcome to apply to the certificate program. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.0.

All applicants must fill out the department’s online application form. All current Temple graduate students are automatically eligible to complete the certificate (with the permission of their graduate director). External applicants must submit the application form as well as the following documents.

Letters of Recommendation

Submit two letters of recommendation from professionals who can affirm your academic ability and accomplishments.

Personal Statement

Submit a personal statement of no more than 250 words, indicating your interest in the certificate program.

Résumé

A current professional résumé is required.

Standardized Test Scores

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required but applicants are welcome to submit scores.

Transcripts

Submit official transcripts for all coursework taken since high school, whether or not a degree was earned from the institution(s).
