The Advertising Major’s Career Services offers specialized, career-related programming exclusively to Klein College students. Klein strongly encourages students to participate in internships so they can apply the skills and knowledge they learned in their degree programs to a real-world, fast-paced work environment.

Senior Showcase

Another opportunity for students to connect with industry professionals is our Senior Showcase. Each year, we invite hundreds of our internship hosts and employers of our recent graduates to attend. Advertising students present their case studies, portfolios, and cover letters and résumés to potential employers. This exciting and innovative event opens doors for many of our students to secure internships and jobs upon graduation.

  • attending workshops that teach you how to optimize your résumé;

  • applying for internships and jobs with media and communication employers;

  • learning how to deliver an “elevator speech” and practice at networking events; and

  • meeting industry professionals and learning about different career paths.

Additionally, the department works with the Temple Ad Club, the Philadelphia Ad Club and other industry organizations to bring career development opportunities to the students.

The Advertising Major creates lasting connections among alumni, colleagues, faculty, parents and students. Upon graduation, you’ll automatically become a part of the Temple University Alumni Association and can remain a vital part of the Temple community for life.
